This one time at church camp.....

This week at church camp has been amazing. God was really working there. He proved many things to me.
I remember praying during every service that someone would get saved and that those that did not know Jesus as their savior would be so miserable during the week, that God would convict them and break them and save them. And you know what? God answered my prayer. It was so amazing to see about 15 teenagers come to know the Lord. It was such a blessing, my heart was so full of joy and love for my God and my new brothers and sisters in Christ. God made it so clear to me through the preaching that this is what is important everything else just seemed so minuscule compared to God's work, compared to what God did for us. I mean, how many hours do I put into debate? How many hours do I put into school? And how many hours do I put into reading my Bible?  I wish y'all could have been there. God was so good. Another thing that God just spoke to me about was this. So many times I hear people say that they don't know what God's will is for their life and they kind of use that as an excuse for the way they act or what they do, but God shows us clearly what His will is for our life. It's EVERYWHERE in the Bible. He wants to be righteous, to be fishers of men, to communicate things that are pleasing to God, to be pure in mind and spirit follow the ten commandments. It's not just something you do sometimes, it's something that you do on a daily basis, something that you practice every moment every day. And then I thought that, if I'm not living righteously, how am I supposed to know what God's will is for my life in terms of my vocation? God just really spoke to me about a lot of things and I could go on and on about the stories that I've heard and how God worked. So many prayers were answered. Those kids who got saved were living proof that God answers prayer!
I loved camp and cannot wait for next year.
Well, that's all for now! I shall bid thee goodbye oh dearest crabcakes

Dearest Crabcakes,

Now that I've been kicked off of facebook because of "my homeschool affiliation" *coughdiscriminationcough* I've returned to my beloved xanga.

Biology is always a fascinating subject. The other day we dissected a crayfish which we christened Sally because obviously she was a girl. I don't know where I was going with this story..... Oh yes, it was very interesting, and I will never look at any shrimp or lobster the same. I feel very sorry for Ann Marie because she missed out on this educational experience because she was sick. Maybe she was still recovering from the last time we dissected an unfortunate specimen which was a worm that we didn't name. Also, I wonder where they get these dissection animals? Is there a farm that raises them and then "humanely" kills them? Do people catch them and kill them? Where do these unfortunate animals come from?!??!?!?!? My favorite part of our (Jenna, Ruthie, and myself) operation was when we were pulling the exoskeleton off and some sort of Crayfish juice sprays all over Ruthie, that was hilarious. I'm looking forward to our next dissection of a fish I think, we're saving our rather fat frog for last.
This is the most ridiculous post I've ever made.
I will leave thee for the engrossing Biology text book that I must study for our test on Wednesday.

Dear Crabcakes,

The Houston tournament was simply too much fun. I was so proud of ASAP, 5 of our seven teams broke to outrounds and God truly blessed us in more ways than I knew was possible. Paige and I had one of our best tournaments ever....we went 6-0(!!!!) and got second place!!!!!! Paige got fifth place speaker and to say that we had a lot of fun is an understatement. And the best part is I obviously didn't die from a nervous heart attack in my apologetics rounds.

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." ~Romans 8:18~

God is so incredibly good isn't He?
Sometimes, when you ask Him, for something, He gives you so much more. It's like asking for 10 dollars and receiving $1,000.

We're leaving for the Houston tournament in approximately 3 hours. WhOot!!!
I am soo excited!

Dear Crabcakes,

Here is a dialogue:

Me: Mom, you're my favoritest mom.

Mom: Oh goodness you're psycho.

I love my family. Family is the bombdiggity.
